What can I say about Ken Ramsay that hasn't already been said. His passion and knowledge for Real Estate in the GTA and his dedication to his clients are unmatched. What set Ken apart from the other Agents that we worked with was how quickly and seamlessly he built a rapport with my parents.

In addition to discussing the generic questions, what I thought was interesting was how easily he sat down with my parents and spoke to them at lengths about the current housing market and its future prospects and the all financial details that were involved in the purchasing process. Not only did we get the house for a GREAT PRICE, his negotiation skills also got us great appliances, household items, reduced renovation costs but most of all, his negotiating skills and his knowledge regarding the real estate market regulations bought us time and saved us from having to renew our lease.

My father, a man who is meticulous and demands perfection in every task he undertakes was impressed how easy Ken made everything for us. From the most minute detail about booking appointments to more important details like negotiating through the seller's demands; Ken was there to pave us a stress-free road of buying our home!

I used Ken's services to sell my condo back in Jan of 2014. Listings of similar units in my Condo building had been active for 60 days and in some cases 90 days with price points moving lower and lower.

Attention to Detail: Whether it be paperwork, the age of the air conditioner, the smell of the basement or the underside of a counter, Ken has an unbelievable attention to detail. In fact, some would call it "anal" but when it comes to finding, evaluating and closing the house of your dreams, I would want no other type of personality managing the process on my behalf.

Integrity and Trust: During the closing of our house, we were "duped" by the other realtor and forced into a potential litigation issue with the owners. For two nights, Ken was up late at night with us, answering every phone call at midnight, and providing a blanket of trust as we struggled through the idea of our dream home fading away. We ended up coming out on top of the legal issue, because of one thing. Ken's iron clad integrity. Through the process, it became clear to the owners that the problem was with their realtor and we closed the deal amicably.

Resourcefulness: Ken knows everyone. Painters, lawyers, plumbers, inspectors, brick layers, and electricians. How nice would it be to look at a kitchen and say "wow, this would be perfect if the counters were granite" and have your realtor say "I know a great granite supplier. It will cost you between $2,000 - $2,500 to source and install. Factor that into your upfront costs."

The granite in our kitchen is beautiful. Installed for $2,200.

Never-Ending Relationship: Ken is now our friend. He's helped create the house I will live in for the next 20 years of my life. If you read this Ken, I can't thank you enough for helping my wife and I create our future.

I had the pleasure of working with Ken at the end of 2013. I had my property listed for over 4 months on PropertyGuys.com and was receiving little interest. After reducing the price several times, still nothing... except a cold call from Ken. He quickly  demonstrated his knowledge of the local market (including my specific condo) and after several discussions I decided to hire Ken to represent the sale of my unit.

The entire process was fantastic. Here's a summary;

1- Marketing; drastic improvement to all marketing collateral, including photos. Great exposure on all traditional sites/locations PLUS a lot of Social Media exposure (Ken understands online marketing)

2- Sales; Ken is a fantastic (and very honest and fair) negotiator. He clearly explained his rationale for each decision we would make throughout the process - and was open to listening to my rationale. His negotiating skills are better than others I've worked with that have over 10x the industry experience.

My husband and I met Ken at one of his open houses one weekend in the summer of 2013.  Our first impression of Ken was that he was very smart and friendly guy who was very prepared and did all his homework. At the open house, Ken had printed literature which outlined the schools, supermarkets, banks etc in the area. Ken also knew all the answers to our questions regarding the housing construction relating to the subject property.   

Although we didn't buy the house that Ken had listed, my husband and I decided we wanted Ken to represent us in purchasing a home because we were very impressed by him.  

Ken has a good understanding of general housing repairs/maintenance/improvement which proved to be very helpful as we were not at all. At the showings, Ken was able to point out what areas of the house may require attention and what needed to be fixed and roughly how much it would cost.  

Ken was very also responsive and accessible. We were able to reach him by phone 99% of the time. The other 1% he returned our calls within minutes, if not seconds. This was much appreciated given the tight conditions of the housing market and we needed to act fast when we saw something we liked. The house we ended up buying with Ken had just come on the market. Ken arranged a showing within two hours of us seeing the listing!   

Ken was very helpful throughout the whole process but his top-notch service didn't stop after we closed on the deal. Some minor work was required on the house. Luckily, Ken had a great network of trades people he had used previously and trusted (eg. Handyman, painter, roof/aluminum guys who all did solid work at very reasonable prices).  Also, we had some trouble with the toilets after we moved in.  Ken was not afraid to get his hands dirty and helped fix our leaky toilet. He even offered to install another old toilet that we were going to replace 

Ken is very hard working and he gets things done.  He also pushed hard to get us what we wanted.  It was a real pleasure working with him and we would highly recommend him to our friends and family.
